Oconee Fall Line Technical College — closed Friday and weekend (all campuses), classes resume Monday morning, Meanwhile, Bibb, Houston, Johnson, Macon Monroe, Peach, and Thomaston-Upson Schools Districts are already closed for Fall Break. Twiggs County Headstart will be closed Friday. Washington County public schools have reported they will be closed on Friday.” Said a weatherman.  All of those schools were closed due to hurricane Michael many lives were lost due to this event there was a warning people didn’t listen and they died.
